Was in a pawnshop last week same scenario,
they were asking 599 for a MIM jazz candy red
I polietly asked about it,clerk said it was orig a 900 bass.
So I played along to see what else would be spued forth,
nuthing but bunk! could'nt take it anymore, so had to tell him what he really had 06 MIM jazz, retail today at
579.00 new at L+M.. clerk now becomes less than helpfull claimng not to know that much about guitars.
This kind of stuff just boils my nuts
pawnshop has internet/skill when you bring in something
for pawn telling you what its really worth, usually less than nothing, but when they sell it,miraculously the value goes wacko
BTW same pawnshop, I got a traynor yba3 and matching 410 cab for 120.00
I think they see me coming now
