Peavey Forum

Hi all,

Picked up a candy apple red Peavey Forum today. MIA, p/j pups, awesome sound...loving it better than any bass I've picked up yet. The serial number puts it at '94...but other than that I have no info on it. The neck is sweet and it looks like a three part maple/rosewood but I'm not sure. I have no idea what the body is made of and if anybody knows that would be cool. Also, does anyone know where the Forums were made in the States? Thanks.

Here's a link to a couple of PDF files. Not sure which one is the one you have.

http://www.peavey.com/assets/literat...s/80301968.pdf

http://www.peavey.com/assets/literat...s/80302079.pdf

If neither of these are it just go here:

Peavey.com

I think all MIA Peavey basses were made in Meridian Mississippi.

If it's a '94 P/J, it's probably a Poplar body.
Just picked one up myself last week.

I just picked one up in ebay, the first one too. Passive pickups, rosewood neck. Looking forward to playing it. I'll give a review once I have played it for a while...

Yup - Luther Grosvenor. I grew up a huge Mott fan. Well done.
