Peavey Forum Crafted in the U.S.A.

Hey Ive been looking everywhere and I can't find any info on a 5 string U.S. made Peavey forum bass. I've had mine for a few years but I have a fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass so I want to out what the value of my Forum is.

The owner manual is available from Peavey:

Search Guitar Center Used for Peavey. IMHO, the USA Forum models are under appreciated and receive very little attention, hence the models I see for sale are usually under $200.

Here are some recent sales on FeeBay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/Musical-Inst...dmd=1&_ipg=200

You should chime in to the PEAVEY USA club thread for additional info.

The Forum AX and DX are generally more desired than the earlier(and more common) pj Forum. They typically go around $300 or more depending on color and condition. The 5-string is less common and can demand slightly more.

So it's my turn to be that guy to point out that you should buck up for a membership to ask that question, as stated in Rule #3 here.

Price check/"How much is this bass worth"-type threads are limited to supporting members only.

There's a wealth of bass info on this site, and it'll be the best $20 (or more) you'll spend.

Oh, and welcome to TalkBass!

P.S. I sometimes still kick myself for passing up on a used Peavey Forum Plus a few years back. It played nice, but by the time I made up my mind, it was already gone.
