What is the nut width and string spacing on a U.S Millinneum 5? I like the narrow width and spacing of my Dyna 5, and am looking for something similar. I may look for another Dyna, but the Millinneum is intriguing.

Is this a USA Millennium? Help!

OK, the ad is posted as being a Millennium AC. I'm seeing a J/MM combo, what looks like the USA headstock script with the triangle logo, one dual concentric knob, truss rod cavity at the body, what looks like the USA bridge and it has the drop D tuner.

USA? Was there a transition period that saw a combo of the USA and BXP/AC parts? Do USA Millenniums have a made in USA stamp? Would love to have some input on this...

That is a USA Millennium plus . It has the Maple top and Hipshot tuners , nothing to do with the imports , this is the real deal . Very nice bass .

Looks like a USA to me. If it is a 35" scale, then it is a US model. There was a USA PJ that was a 34" scale but the J/MM are 35".

Got my USA jj the other day. WOW!! Better than I was hoping. Love the jazz type tone from it. It is a lot different from my mm/j. More than I thought it was going to be. I will try to get a pic up soon. My iphone for some reason only lets me post pics when I start a new thread.

Nut width 1.800. String spacing is adjustable.

For any club members who might be interested, I have one of my Mill 5's in the classified section. I'd love for it to find a loving new home!

TL-5 vs Milly 5

Yep. Debate time... I've got to get another Milly 5 and have a few at or around $500 at my disposal.
I've been interested in the 1st Gen TL-5 for quite some time now and have a few of those available also.

Can anyone tell me if there is a big difference in tone and playability?
I've had at least a dozen or more Millys slip through my hands, but never played a TL-5.
Thanks.

Hey guys I'm having a hard time finding a recording with a USA millennium. I only found a guy on youtube briefly demoing his for sale, but the sound quality wasn't great. Does anyone have sound clips?

I'd say these vids are pretty accurate. Sounds very much like my Mills!

Check out Ivan Neville's "Dumpstaphunk" Live at the 2012 Jazzfest on youtube. One of the bass players plays a Millennium Plus. These guys know how to lay a groove down!
