9 volt

I was wondering if I can run the preamp in the American Millennium with just one 9 volt battery. If so what kind of difference should I expect by doing so?

You might be able to, but you'd likely have to rewire it to do so. Not sure what differences you'd experience besides decreased headroom.

Why don't you try it and let us know?

What do you hope to gain by this? It's wired as an 18v system so ya need two 9 volts to make it work.

In the last thread, someone asked if it were possible to swap Hopshot Ultralite tuners and the Gotoh style tuners on Mill standards. I thought they would not be a direct replacement, but I was wrong. Swapped the tuners from my Mill+ onto the neck of my GV and it was a direct drop-in. So, I'm stupid. lol

Lookie what I just snagged from GC Used online for cheap! The guy was talking to me about the fret markers, saying how they were wood and not plastic, and he wasn't sure if someone had done that or if it came that way! lol

Also, haven't seen many (or really any) in this color. According to the Millennium brochure, it looks like Peacock Blue Metallic. I'm excited to have finally got a cheap Mill after missing like 4 or 5 in the past!

ID:	301851I just recieved my new-to-me beauty , a purchase from a TB member . She's a 5 string milli plus, with a Trans Peacock blue tiger body, Birdseye maple neck; with matching blue headstock. SOOO PURDY!!!
Dieing to give her a workout ...but got to wait for "reasonable" hours to do that - the play thru on the good headphones is Fab and FAT....but I'm sure ya'all ready know this.
There are times when everything in the stars align and this bass got built with me in mind ...or my evil twin is out there .....

I would be honored to have a number too.
