Mint green pickguard because the combo worked so well on my last Fiesta Red 50's Classic that I sold a few years ago. Here's my old one, a 2010:
Pretty much in line with my idea of Fiesta Red. Basically a little bit of pink mixed with orange...kind of like an 'Atlantic Salmon' flesh tone. Very similar to pics I've seen of actual vintage models.
Here's my 2013:
Fairly different but maybe hard to tell. This one is almost a tomato soup...no...it IS a tomato soup color. And not homemade, but Campbell's. I kind of like it but definitely NOT what I would call Fiesta Red.
Anyway, I'm not sure I like the mint with it. It is hard to capture the greenish tint (which I like or else I would have just got a white one) but I'm left wondering that since I got dealt such a funky tone here, what some of my fellow TB'ers recommendations (with pics?) might be.

It's so hard when choosing "white" guards. I thought because mint looked good on my last, that this would work. Creamed tomato soup maybe?

Aged, slightly yellowed, white pickguard.
I don't think I can ever put a tort guard on this now. |

I don't agree, but that's funny. Personally, I like the gold anodized on the Blondes, Blacks, and Fiestas; but not on the 2TS. On a 2TS/maple, I prefer a black guard. But I know I'm in the minority on that.
