Pickups on Squier P Bass
 

So I'm thinking of upgrading the PB-105 Seymour Duncan pickups that come with the Squier VM P bass with the PB-105 Duncans. But I can't find a price or differences between the two?

I may be wrong, but the Squier VM P bass does not get ACTUAL SD pickups. I believe they are "Duncan Design" pups.....which are different.......yet similar.:eyebrow:

IMO the Duncan designed pups don't sound no where near as good as reg Duncan line of P bass pups but that is me.

The "Duncan Designed" pickups are made by a foreign contractor to Seymour Duncan specs.
I like 'em.
According to a "guy who knows a guy who worked/works for Duncan" (FWIW :)), the pickups are specced towards a 60's type sound.
