I've got the same amp and I still use it today. I still haven't found anything that gets a tone as nice as the basic 50

Cool

I don't have a picture of me playing it, but here's my first bass, a Kalamazoo. That's the way it looked when I bought it for $50, including a cardboard case. To put it in perspective, I do have this picture of me playing my first electric guitar which I got while I was still playing that bass. The guitar is a Les Paul Jr. Wish I still had them both. I got my $50 back in trade-in on my first good bass, an EB-3. The year would be 1968. No pictures of the Kustom 100 2-15 amp in black roll & tuck.

holy crap...where is that drum set now? If that is an old North drum set, it is probably worth tons of money...

and the basement in the second pic looks EXACTLY like the basement my HS band practiced in. I had to do a double take

sorry but i found more.....

I think this was before the above ...a black Epi/cheap Gibson ?

93,new Ibanez SR1000E SGR with EMG's big regrets about selling that bass.

2004,some of us never grow up...This MIM Jazz was new and I still have it,it replaced the Ibanez...
Sunn 1200s amp out on loan(my Hartke was broken),ended up buying this 2 years later from the same store that loaned it..must have had heaps of use in that time as it sat New in the store.

See what I mean about growing up 2011....my 48th birthday wearing my kids shades, couldnt see a thing.....even without them on
MIA 2006 Jazz another keeper...and Genz Benz.

I'm not quite as old as some of you guys.

This was from '07 with a Bentley P bass copy.
First ever gig. I was using a pick and looking down the whole time...

Yeah, I guess I have been playing for about 5 years now.

That's me with the Dano. I played my friend's Gibson Les Paul bass and he played my Guild Starfire (guitar) before I got the Dano and he got the Jaguar. Circa 1963. I was 16.

I started out with a 63 P Bass. Still got it. I dont sell my basses, they either have to be stolen, given away, borrowed or taken by natural disaster. As for the lame pic, we did a reunion concert three years ago and I went shopping for a wig and outfit that resembled our heyday in the 70's.

so here is a "before and after" scenarion.

first pic is my first gig ever: Dec ??1985; basement of a local church at their youth group night(our drummer was a member); playing NWOBHM and Prog metal influenced originals, and Iron Maiden/Queensryche/Dokken etc covers. Kept getting shocked by the mike. The bass is a no name P-bass rip-off that was awful. Note the jacket with pins, Nike high tops, and feathered hair...total metal!!!

2nd is from Oct of this year. Better bass for sure. Still an original metal band; shoes are now Chuck Taylors; still have and wear the jacket, can't believe it is almost 27 years later...total metal still!!!!
