It's plastic and carbon fiber, and sounds actually rather good. Our t-bone player switches between his regular brass mouthpiece and the plastic one that came with the red. Definite tone difference there, but both are great tones. Kind of a hoot to have what looks like a Mattel Brand Trombone, but have it actually sound like the real thing.

Wow. Great pic. It's so cool seeing family playing together, too!

Here's a pic of my guitarist and myself. He's a band director for the middle school. We were asked to accompany the 7th grade choir. It was a blast. The kids really liked my 4003.

I'm out of luck on that front. I pre-date the 1951 Fenders by a year...

These pics are painful! I had a '63 p in about '72, and a '64 jazz til about '83, when I mostly quit playing til the '90s. I mostly miss the '64 jazz! Here's a pick that's 33 years old.

Here's a picture from my high school days.. It was about '95 - I was a baby-faced 15 yo, instead of a baby faced 32 yo.. I was playing the show choir's dinner theater in the pit, and we were playing Miles Davis' So What during a break.. '84 Mid Scale Squier Precision..

Squier Mike Dirnt Precision

Italia Modulo (can't really see it too well in this picture, but it's red sparkle with gold binding and a pearloid back, fantastic finish)
