Those pictures are from when I was playing at the Saddle Rack, in the Band Wichita a year before we became the backup band for Bobby Bare... THAT'S when things got cool !!!!

We were doing the "upscale, Porter Wagoner" thing at the time

A few months back with my old band:

This is me getting a much better back workout due to my disadvantaged height and instrument that weighs close to twice as much as their weak little twang-fanglers

And this is me showing off. For some reason, because they cant hear you in metal, if you play fast scales high up the neck you are assumed to be good I have no problem with this misconception!

I miss these guys. I'm glad I'm on good terms with their new bassist though. Gonna go tear one of their shows up next chance I get

I haven't played in a band setting in front of people in about 15 years and I've spent many years in an effort to destroy all photographic evidence that I exist - But here I am with my newest student, my 20 month old boy.

That kid is going to be a much better bassist than I am in no time...

You all rock. There's a lot of love in these images, makes me glad to be a bassist.

I got nothing much, posted this in another thread but hoping to have something better later on:

Me playing my upright bass for my friend's 30 minute wacky biology class presentation. It was glorious!
