Cool you get a t-bird tone without the neck dive.
I think I want to build a 5 string frankensteined version of that bass.

I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.

You can see a board in front of him during a few shots in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsapezTsTaQ from the 12-12-12 concert. I'm also about 90% sure I'm hearing a bit of octave starting around 10:20. A picture of the board would be most helpful. |

ROCK ON BRO! | Seems like simple laziness to me. Like people who are too lazy to press the "Shift" key for the pronoun "I." I hope you're not that lazy when creating your art.

Any ideas what they may be? I'm quite curious as to what effects he'd be using with The Who, other than his ever present octave. http://twitter.com/BrandonK2/status/...607424/photo/1

Nope. Not the red Precision.
He played one of these:
And it sounded great. That guy could probably play just about any bass and make it sound great. |

| | | | Pino is playing a Jaguar Bass with DR Black Beauty round wounds thru a Fender SuperBassman 300 with 8x10 cabinet. The other bass onstage is indeed his Fender signature P-Bass with Dr's and old T-Bird pickups like Entwhistle used to play for the Quadrophenia period.
The PedalTrain pedalboard is simple- Snark tuner, Boss Octave and Fender channel switch, VoodooLab Pedal Power+. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
