I have got this bass from a trade. It should be late 70's or early 80's.

How can I know when this bass made ?

I have one of those at the studio where I teach though it only has one p pickup. I was told it was a 77 because there was a 77 before the serial #. Not sure if that is accurate. Great bass though.
