Some fine pets here, and basses as well.

The first is my guitarist's cat; he has an appreciation for contrast.

The second is my Rosie, from the local shelter. She's such a butthead sometimes.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took their animals off the street or got them from the shelter

I have two cats (originally from a farm cat litter) due to my son marrying a woman who's got two of her own, from a shelter. So do I get the kudos too?

Seriously: I second Peepaleep's emotion.

... if you can believe it ( not too far-fetched I guess) Max was 'procured' from the Montgomery Co. (MD- near D.C.) rescue shelter. We had to drive down to 'meet the doggie' (about 1-1/2 hrs.)- then they sent a lady to 'inspect' our home (see if we were 'dog-worthy' (we were!)... then Max's 'foster mom' brought him to stay! The process was worth it (for all three of us)!

Hope this doesn't get the thread too off- topic...

Thank you. He is a Maine Coon, so not only is he a pretty cat, but he is a good friend. He, like the rest of the breed, really enjoy your company. The picture on my rig is where he sits while I practice in the morning before I go to work

I love Main Coons... but hey, I love cats... period.

Maine Coons are cool cats. I used to have a Norwegian Forest Cat and they're really large too. Sweet personalities.

My dad had a dog JUST like that when he was a kid in the 1950's. The dog's name was Daisy and was the smartest dog he ever had. He knew when bath time was and hid under the bed, etc... Ahhhh, pets and basses !!
