Yup, I bought that bass! I'm glad everyone that played it liked it. I have about 8 gigs on it so far and can't imagine every selling it. I know this because while I'm playing I have stopped thinking about other basses.

I have a 78 and that finish "checking" looks very familiar...
I'll never forget the first time I brought mine in on a sub gig with a horn band... we were soundchecking and after the first tune one of the horn players (older, very well respected and extremely picky) said, "wow, a bass that sounds like a bass". |

All the cheesey danceable cover tunes from the 50s' thru to today's biggest hits. I don't know the difference, but they all call it a "function band". Oh and yes, we play bars too.
