| A question for Turner Ren or Carvin AC series users I picked up a fretless Ren 4 on Monday and absolutely love the sound, feel, looks...pretty much everything, except the body. When I stand and play, it digs into my forearm and gets a bit uncomfortable, since there isn't that little countour that's on most basses.
Sittig down, no problem. But standing, I feel like the bass forces my arm, elbow and shoulders forward so as not to have the edge of the body digging into my forearm. This feels a bit weird and awkward to me.
It's the exact same feeling on the AC40, as it has a similar body shape/countour.
Is this just something you have to get used to or is there a trick to avoiding this discomfort?
Thanks.
