funny how the extra neck has 6 tuner holes.

But my friend john called RIC last year to see if they would make one. They said they wouldn't, and if they did it'd be about 2 years and $5000 give or take.

If I had the money though.....

I love these things that extra neck looks like the original guitar neck.

The extra neck makes it tempting, for sure. Bass with either 6 or 12 string guitar... cool.

However, I am broke like a miner in a brothel on payday, so this will, sadly, have to wait.

And only $18,000.

Both in Toronto though..... Maybe Geddy's cleaning house!

Lightbulb

Strikes me as a tad strange that these things haven't seen the light of day in say 15 odd years at least, and now 2? Hot on each others heels noless? Unless they're from a collection that's been passed along or found in a house that was repossessed, I'm going to remain sketchy. You'll notice in BOTH cases there's no serial number listed. Usually in any Ric sale that's always included.

Are double necked guitars/basses anything more than a novelty? Or do they actually have a practical use. It seems like they'd be incredibly uncomfortable to play.
