Looks like an American standard with an s-1 switch to me. What's giving you doubts?

DeliriumTremens 03-17-2013 12:49 PM

real

Baird6869 03-17-2013 12:53 PM

Looks like a 2003 American Standard with 2008+ high mass bridge and tuners.

Looks like a real American Fender Jazz, but I would question the period incorrect (IMO) tuners and bridge.

DeliriumTremens 03-17-2013 12:57 PM

the bridge and tuners are correct for a 2003. That's not the HMV bridge or the Fender/Hipshot tuners

exidor 03-17-2013 12:58 PM

REAL!

Wotcher 03-17-2013 01:11 PM

Looks like my chrome red 2004 with S1 switch. Though mine has a maple neck

You are right about the bridge. I should have looked closer!

I don't recall the tuners looking like that on a 2003, but it has been a while since I owned one.

It's a real Jazz.
Not sure if it#s a real fender.
Does it play well and sound good?

skychief 03-17-2013 01:26 PM

That neck plate sure looks convincing. Im guessing REAL.

It's for the strats/teles with the tilt control in the neck.

Z3 indicates American 2003

Axtman 03-17-2013 03:04 PM

Fake Rickenbacker!

P. Aaron 03-17-2013 08:12 PM

Looks authentic. The only way that bass would be any better is if it was a Precision Bass.
