All the grammatical errors (mostly faulty plurals) caught my eye. The description doesn't sound like the work of a native speaker of English.

And what the heck would a recording studio be doing with a freak instrument like that, eh?

I smell a rat...

Most...cumbersome thing I've ever seen.

"Due to overwhelming response, I will not set a price." What is this, craigbay? I hate craigslist posters that pull that stupid gag.

Correct, this is the native language of craigsland.

If it had a coffee maker on it I'd be all over it.

I imagine playing that thing is like having several girlfriends at once. It probably seemed like fun at first but........

That is potentially the most absurd instrument I have ever seen. Looks physically impossible to play the lower three or four.

Firewood or a scam or he put the grammatical errors intentionally...

"This guitars" - referring to it being a multi-neck instrument.
"All of these guitar" - again, see above.
etc...

Or it could just be an idiot who has no grasp of the English language!!

That's one of the most asinine things I've ever seen.

But at least it's under 90 lbs.

What I'm trying to figure out though is how the scam works?

Does he offer to ship the item, and then scam that way?

I'm surprised he didn't link it to Rick Nielsen in some way:

But wait, the point of that ad isn't to find a buyer, it's to gather valid email addresses for phishing/spamming.

That certainly is another way CraigsList is used for scamming.

The scam is, that he will actually send it to you if you pay him.
