Recommendations for a budget fretless acoustic with fret lines

I'm in the market for a fretless acoustic bass with fret lines. Does anyone have recommendations for a sub $1500 instrument with this criteria? Thanks.

if you are diligent (and patient) about checking the used market you can get a pretty top tier acoustic for $1500. if you are willing to go around that high i would suggest being patient.

can you give us some info on what you can and can not live without (i.e., electronics, cutaway, # of strings, solo or band, etc.)?

Thanks. Some suggestions of specific models would be great. Carvin is a little hard to get over in Australia.
