It worked! It's a Ibanez GSR 200l, I think. That's what it was listed as but I can't find any record of Ibanez making this.
Hmm, looks more like a GSR blur1

Man, those pickups are close. Gorgeous, nonetheless.

I always liked what you did with yours.
I still love my stock Candy Cola though.

Thanks guys. The traditional P and MM pickup positions juuust overlap, so this was the best way to preserve that. Plus I thought it looked cooler. It's crazy how different the pickups sound from each other because they have the same covers and are so close together. Playing them together is just ridiculous...deep and thick with a bit of a Stingray grunt.

The first single it I really liked. How much did you buy yours for (if you can say)?

sorry, I missed this. I'd rather not say what I paid (and it was a few years ago plus it really depends on what you want...my four basses had different price tags attached to each), but drop him a note at martin@MartinKeithGuitars.com and he should get back to you promptly. If you want to talk to me more about it offline, just send me a pm.

Edit: there's some current pricing info here: http://www.premierguitar.com/Magazin...h_Guitars.aspx ...but I suggest talking to Martin directly....he's on TB, but email or phone is probably best.

Add this to the stable - my new KSD Burner Ignition 5 in Transparent Cherry, replacing the Guild Pilot (now on classifieds). Holy crap is this a good looking bass:
