Remember this bass from the classifieds? Check it out now!

I picked this up a while back from the classifieds. You can see what it used to look like here:

http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/fs-*schecter*-van-nuys-era-tele-bass-$600-853268/

I had it refinished, put in an Audere pre, and various other mods. All the work was done by the fine folks at SF Guitarworks. Check it out now!

Beautiful color! Checkout out their site. They did a great job. I'm in the East Bay. I'd love to see a photo of the entire instrument.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! This bass came out real nice. Plays and sounds great too. In addition to the refin and the mods, it got a plek job and a great set up from the folks at SF Guitarworks. They do great work there.

The mini toggles are for the Audere pre. One is the "z mode" switch and the other is active/passive.

Pretty, tho I think I'd have stuck with the B/W/B guard, especially if the headstock is still black.

Yep, the headstock is still black. I had three pickguards made -- tort, white and black -- so I can pick and choose. They all look cool, though I'm digging the tort for now!
