Replacement P Pick Up

I'm a sure I'll get many opinions but anyway...

I have a 75 Fender P and am considering a pick up change to see if improvements can be had.

Bill Lawrence, DiMarzio Model P, Will Power, others? Your thoughts?

I have a '76 P, that came with all original electronics - I tried the Model P, Fender's '62 original, and Seymour Duncan's SPB-1... IMO/IME, the DiMarzio wasn't an improvement at all, whereas the Fender and Duncan pups were, with the SPB-1 being the best of all...

Will Power user here, if you want a really hot, powerful pick up then that's the one for you.
