1960s Ricks are worth some very serious coin to collectors.
Be wary of a refin, that usually hurts the value.
May be a really great player bass though, late 1960s/very early 1970s basses are supposed to be pretty special.
Never had the chance to play one myself.

Well, I found it: Return To Forever (w/Bill Connors) 1974 - YouTube
It is a Jetglo, but it appears to lack a neck pickup. Would that make it a 4000? The vid is from 1974, very cool. Stanley Clarke on a Ric, and Geddy only got his that same year!
ETA: This vid looks to be from the same show, you get a better view of the instrument starting around 3:35 or so. It has dot markers on the neck as well as a single pup. It also appears to have no binding: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=cQzMulHaW4s

Good stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmrX7...eature=related
