So, I ws going through TalkBass on my iPhone last night and reading the posts on our thread and I started wondering about how many Roger Waters Sig Bass has Fender sold so far. At the end of the day it has been already 2 years since the bass' release and Roger's The Wall Tour going on during this time... Actually it was by pure fate that I got mine a week before his concert in Madrid!

I wonder if it sold over a million of them, I do think it did! My guess is that maybe in a Signature P Bass Chart it wouold be with the middle group. Who knows?!

Any opinions?

Hey guys,

the thread has been a little slow lately... chime in with some recent story/adventure with your basses. Any gig lately you could share some feedback with the club?

On my side as I mentioned a few posts back I have swapped the set of LaBellas for the Rotosound 66 SS and I haven΄t been so happy and sure I finally got what I was looking for. IMO the SD QP with Roto 66 are a great combination... is a power punchy sound and it has changed my opinion completely when a few pages back I wasn΄t sure I wanted to carry on with my Ashdown rig.
Well. after changing strings and playing a bith with the amp΄s EQ I have now a personal setting that is satisfying all my needs.
Obviously I had the chance to try all the new set up out at rehearsals and a couple of shows so I can say I will keep it this way for a while... or at least try to!!!

Take care everyone!!!

Hey guys just got myself a Bad Monkey... It has just arrived. Looking forward to try it these days and with the band on Saturday... I will let you know my impressions of my new little green friend with the bass. Keeping in mind the set of Rotos 66 I have on I imagine I will have a good time with the set up.

Does anybody here have the Bad Monkey? What your impressions with the Roger Waters bass? Any particular setting on the pedal for a great tone?

Take care all!

The bridge is Babicz, I really like it, looks great and is very solid without being heavy. And pickups are Fender 62 RI.
Thanks for the number.

Hey guys what's up?! The club has been a little slow lately...

We are about to record another EP. As usual my RgW will be my main bass however this time I will use Rotos 66. Pretty excited to record with this set up. I have loved them since I swapped flats for rounds on this bass.

As soon as we have the new tunes online I will post the link for you to check them out.

Keep on rockin' !

Here is my RW P-Bass:

The mods:
- Hipshot D-Tuner
- Schaller 3D-4 bridge
- 3-ply pickguard
- Chrome screws/knobs
- Internal copper shielding
- More robust strap buttons

And the supporting pedalboard, with some Roger Waters "signature" sounds

Really nice upgraades you have there DrPat. It looks pretty awesome and I have to say that we match rigs almost completely(different versions but same concept I would say)... I also have an Ashdown rig (mag300 and 2x410) and I also own a MXR Phase (the 90 one though) and Zoom and Comp (B2.1u and Boss CS-3)... Do we have some Pink floyd influence in there???

Welcome to the club DrPat!
