In terms of business they will be selling a lot of gear to parents and beginner bassists who wouldn't know a dodgy neck pocket if it hit them in the face. My mate is the same, he would play anything with four strings as long as he could tune it down to C standard and play along to his Kyuss records.

What constitutes a loose neck pocket on a Sub $200 bass?? 1mm? 2mm? Anything beyond this would have been caught much early as it is very apparent to the naked eye. Really, how much of a gap was there in the neck pocket?? I've seen 2mm pocket gaps on a Fender & these were considered adequate for display in a store with high standards. To me, a loose pocket on a sub-$200 bass is nitpicky & personal taste as to whether you can live with it. No refund for returning something of this nature.

As for my reasoning, it's a medication thing, not a twin child thing. A bass is a commodity like medication, not a living being like your children. To even compare the two?
Yes, I did mention to Kurt that not shipping separately probably invited the issue. Being that were returned for different reasons, I should have shipped them back differently.
I am happy with the outcome.
And lastly, I guess my overreacting for posting instead of giving it more time to be resolved, I deserved the return overreactions of the almighty internet. lol | I think shipping is less if two items are part of the same order, especially if the shipper is a big customer, so it makes sense to ship these together. If they were in the same box, I would guess that the shipping would be about 40% less than two packages. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
