Should I take it. This is from a dude about an hour and a half in bremerton. If Ican get him down to 50 bucks, is it worth the drive? He said a deal like that and he wants it gone this evening.

I'm looking for a little bit of a project. I am looking to defret something and maybe turn it into a serious project over time.

50 bucks? Should I do it?

No. It's $99 new, and you can whittle it down from that $10-$20.

Gas prices for a three hour RT drive make this a gigantic non-starter.

As bongo said , 50$ and its a 99$ bass. Guitar center always has some sale so your never going to pay the top dollar price unless you want to.

Gas , wear and tear on the car and yourself.

Way not worth it IMO , even if your car gets amazing gas mileage thats like 20 bucks.

Plus its a rogue , i like cheap basses, but in the end I get tired of them and never use them. I doubt you would use it that much unless you have no other bass.

Nope. That bass was down to $69.99 brand new at Musiciansfriend.com before they updated it with the current version with more pickups and tone controls, currently for $79.99.

You can find the one you have a pic of at pawn shops for around $30-$40.

They're great for last-song-of-the-set destruction, a la Townsend. Other than that, they're not good for much else.

Save up a few bucks more and get something halfway decent to start your project with.

Agreed. Rogue, I have heard of. Rouge must be a new brand.

Seriously, Rogue is a budget line but it's not bad. The price is OK but the time and gas make this one a non-starter. Spend $80 or $100 for a bass you can get close to home.

Have you ever played one of these?

I have ... not a satisfying experience.
