Hi Peeps,

Just surfing the web today, and checking eBay. Found this cool looking acoustic bass guiatar and just wondering if any one out here have bought and tried this bass.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=320584204753

Always wanted to get an acoustic bass, especially a five string one. Wondering if this is worth my money.

Thanks

Okay, So I decided to buy the bass guitar and be the first one to probabbly review it.

So I place d my best offer to the guy of $180.00 with free shipping. To my suprise I won the item and choosed the light yellow color model. Bought it on October 2nd, and it arrived yesterday morning!!

So here it is:

First, it's made in china, its well built.

The finish however, could be done beter, the action of the neck is a bit too high. I would need to shave the saddle a bit, since the neck is already striaght as it is.

Acousticaly however this thing is loud and the sound quality is not that bad. Played with my freind with his guitar and you can still hear the bass acoustically.

It wasn't until I plugged it into an amp.
This thing SOUNDS Awsome plugged in.
The pickups and electronics on this bass sound that of a familiar equipment that you will find in more expensive modes. It sounded like a have a Fishman system on this bass.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this bass. For less that $200 its not that bad, plus it a five string. Can't wait to put on better strings and I bet it will even sound better

wow I wouldn't mind buying one of these, especially as a 5 string. Never had the money bucks to dish out for the ibanez version.

Thining of putting on some flatt wounds strings. This thing sounds like a fretless when pugged in.

Good find.
Keep in mind though; string height relates to acoustic volume.
I'll submit LaBella 760N's as a better string choice.
