Hi, I'm considering buying a Neckthrough bass in Wenge/maple and Bubinga, with a beautiful flamed maple top (half an inch, not a laminate) with matching headstock and truss rod cover (yes the trussrod cover is carved from flamed maple), handcrafted by a finn called Riku Meriläinen, problem is I've never heard of him, cant find him on google, and the person I'm buying it from bought from someone else some time long ago, so I'd like to know if someone knows him and can vouch for his basses and their quality ;3?

The bass was made in 2008 when Riku Meriläinen was a luthier student at Ikaalinen College of Crafts and Design and it's the only bass that he have made as far as I know.
