It's a Rush-branded VM Jazz, maybe a bit overpriced at 6 Benjamins, but it would make a nice bass for a hardcore Rush freak! http://www.rushbackstage.com/rushbac...gels-bass.html

It might speak to the limited production, so 6 Bennies might eventually be the going price...I could not say. |

If it was $300-350 I would buy one to hang on my basement wall, but $599 for a $299 bass "upgraded" with a $0.50 sticker and a branded logo on the headstock is crazy.
P.s. I am a huge Rush fan as is my 16 year old son. Funny enough, I just received my "exclusive" package from Rush today for buying premium seats.... Shirt, cooler bag, picks, program and poster!

I started the 2nd thread about it, and someone posted the 1st thread that already mentioned it, so I figured I'd pass along the 1st and 2nd thread. Let's see how many different threads we can start about the Geddy Squire!!! |

In no way is this a "$600 Squier".

With that said, I still kind of want one of these!

Fender Geddy's was beatifully crafted and with stock strings and action to die for
Yet soft soundin'... too soft for my rockcover outfit (not even to mention my main thrashmetal band)
And we're talkin' about alder body, BadAssII bridge with selected maple neck and fingerboard!
Do we have to even consider a Crafted in Indonesia agathis body with notsoever neck finish and crappy duncan designed pickups?!
Come on!
Cheers,
Wallace
