Sadowsky 50s Modern P triple pickup beast

That's all I have to say.

Except that it's more fun than Charlie Sheen sitting at the same table as your sisters at your wedding reception.

Five way switch
1. bridge
2. bridge + middle (like Sadowsky Modern)
3. bridge + neck (like J bass combined)
4. middle + neck (more funky stankiness)
5. neck

Chambered ash body.

Nice idea...is it a custom one off?

Still, at the moment if it's three single coils, the Big Al takes first place.

Cool! I know you do a lot of stuff in the studio, Jim. Any chance we could get some clips demoing each sound?

That is amazing. I absolutely love it!

If I had to nitpick without playing it, I would likely prefer a PU closer to the neck.... maybe Roger will build me the same with 4 or maybe 5 PU?

I'd love to make clips but I sold off my studio gear last month. But I may be able to make some with my bass player's (my band) H2.

That's OUTSTANDING Jim! Have you had a chance to hear it on a gig yet? What about the weight. Great colour.

That'd be awesome. In fact, even without the band. The H2 does a wonderful job IMHO for simple clips. I'd just ask that you don't do anything with amp or bass EQ.

You do and I'll hire Gibbs (NCIS) to perform his usual punishment on you.

I know what I will be buying in 2012!

(I buy one bass a year, and I already bought mine for 2011.)

True, but the Big Al is the first bass that has got it right, IMO.
