Sadowsky Basses, arguably the best basses ever Discuss... |
Lots of things are arguable. Doesn't make them right. |
They're truly excellent, but I found myself playing my old ESP 400 Series more so I sold my one on. |
Roger makes a pretty good Fender clone.:hiding: I kid.:p I like the fact that the Metro series sounds almost identical to the NYC basses but without as many pricy top choices. Great company to deal with too. |
i'd like to find out! |
"Knowledge", I see that you just joined today. You might want to do a search; debates like that have been going on for a while. ...or is this just a troll? |
Nobody doesn't like them. There's a Sadowsky Club thread here somewhere. |
They are Fender copies. And I think they outsource their woodwork and electronics. Nice basses though. But compared to an Alembic or Ken Smith. But we all have our opinion here. |
Thank you, will browse and view older discussions and threads. |
Sold my NYC. It was a great instrument in construction, feel and super light but not the right sound for me. |
Arguably? I'll argue all day long. |

Nobody carries them in my area otherwise I'd love to find out. |
Troll posts are hard to define but I have my suspicions on this one. ![]() M. M. |
I haven't played one that I like. |

Sadowsky makes the best Sadowsky basses. |
I played a Sadowsky at a gig recently, I was very impressed. I am an American Standard Fender player (I play a Jazz bass), the Sadowsky was also a Jazz configuration. It was a very sweet bass and a little better than my Fender but not "night and day", good bass but I can't see myself dropping 3 large for one. |
