Sadowsky sound from Fodera etc. :)

Hey bros! While I have sold all my Sadowskys I still miss the Sadowsky sound sometimes. So I decided to get the Sadowsky outboard preamp/Di to use it with my other basses in passive mode. Got the pre today and immediately tried it with my Fodera. I found that I can easily get the famous Sadowsky sound out from my NYC5. Tried it with my W&T Chronos and felt the same. Tried it with my John Elliot's 62J and voi'la - the Sadowsky sound is still there! So I can get all the sounds from the different sources. Cool! OK, there is always a little flavor of the current instrument wood combo but I can easily recognise that famous Sadowsky sound. And the build quality of that little box is also awesome. Well, the knobs could be better but hey, I am not complaining at all! So try out!

I'm glad it works for you. That's way cheaper than buying another Sadowsky!

Yeah, and it's a cheap way to get that expensive Fodera sound from a cheap bass as well - get the Fodera outboard pre and you'll most likely have it!
