Sandberg California VT or Fender P-bass?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi everyone!

Soon I'll buy my first "expensive" bass, and I've seen this Sandberg Califonia VT. Why shall I buy a Sandberg instead of a Fender P-bass or a Fender P-bass instead of a Sandberg?...

I hope you understand my question... :-)

ill pick sandberg on this case, it is p-j pickups and activ and passiv bass with eq, alot better than boring p-bass, but other case the p-bass is the first bass ever made and it unique

Just picked up the Sandberg TT and looove it! I wanted a Fender, so I tried as many Fender P's and J's as I could find and found the quality was so inconsistant. Even had an offer from the local Fender rep to order one in at cost. Currently live in Sweden so was lucky enough to try a few Sandbergs before I bought, and loved them.

Are you in Europe / North America / Asia?

If you're in Europe it's an easy choice. Sandberg can be cheaper than a new Am Std P bass.

I got a Tt5 and love it.

If it is between these two I'd go with sandberg.
