Sanity check on hipshot size for HRP
 

Hey techs,

Can I get a quick confirmation that that I need 1/2-inch hipshot ultralights for a hot-rod P-bass? (I can't measure the hole without removing a tuner.)

Tuners on the bass are these:



(I measured the winding post at 1/2".)

Should I get the 1/2" hipshots?

Yes.

The hole for Fender basses is 11/16", if I recall correctly, and the bushing brings it to 9/16". The half-inch Hipshots are the ones you want.
