SBMM Ray 35 pickguard and Pickup color change

Hey everyone. I recently bought a SBMM Ray 35 in black and want to change the look. I am going to have a pickguard made by Pickguard Heaven in either Tiramasu, Purple Candy Crush or aged white pearl(still debating). My question is, does the pickup on the SBMM have a cover that I will be able to paint? I know some jazz pickups are able to have the pickup covers painted. :confused:

The only real way to find out is to unscrew the pickup and see if the cover comes off.
