Schecter + Ampeg = Ibanez Prestige?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a possible opportunity to trade my Schecter 6 String Stilleto and my Ampeg SVT410HLF for a 6 String Ibanez Prestige (Pretty much this bass: http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend....tar?sku=580527). The bass is going for fairly cheap, I'm having difficulty selling my Ampeg (It's Chinese made..), and I've been unhappy with the weight of the Schector, so I thought that this would be a wise trade even though I lose a bit of money on the deal. Thoughts?

P.S. The Prestige is a bit older than the one currently sold. I don't think it has a passive / active switch and the EQ is set up a little differently.

An amp you're trying to sell and a too-heavy bass you don't seem to particularly care for, against an excellent and remarkably-lightweight sixer? Do it!

Wow. I wish that deal found me. I mean, make sure it's a prestige but run away fast. That's a killer deal

Though I'm not the biggest fan of SR's, I'd still jump at that offer.
