Schecter CV-4 Diamond Series question

Sign in to disble this ad
Recently got one of these and have a question for any owners out there (or for anyone else for that matter). I'm wondering if the blend pot is miswired. Full CCW (0) position is bridge pickup only, while full CW (10) is neck only. This suprised me, as I was expecting the opposite. Is this normal for all blend pots?

Also, this bass has a "slap switch". Which position is considered on and which position off.

Thanks in advance, guys.

I have the same bass, and I've been wondering the same thing about the slap switch. Also, my Yamaha RBX270j has the same 'backwards' blend pot. I've always found that to be a bit strange.

Its an ok wiring for the blend knob. Has come across that a couple times. Even had one with seperate volumes where frint one was bridge and rear one neck. Lol. I eventually just unscrewed the nuts on their shafts and moved them to regular order. As I remember, the slap position on would be the brighter sounding one for the switch.
