A guy on cl is along $200 for a Schecter Damien 4. He will take $175 but I know nothing about Schecter basses, I used to but Schecter parts back when that was what they did.....

I don't know anything about the one you are going to look at. However, I just bought a new SchecterStudio 6 for $800. They are monsters, only you can determine if the CL deal is worth it. New Schecters are great , at least the one I got, I would get a 4 or 5 in the future. I like their hardware and sound.....Good luck

I believe all of their models are made overseas and put through some quality control measures in the US. They also set them up before they ship them out. I've never played a bad Schecter. The amazing ones are far inbetween but they're all decent at least. I couldn't get over the bland tone of the EMGs it had. I should've kept the bass and replaced them...

My Schecter Diamond would have been a fantastic buy at $200....retail on the Schecter Damien 4 seems to start at $499.
