Best price I've ever seen on a new Model T.
Lots of other basses in the "Musical Instrument Outlet" section. There's over 100 basses listed there. Lots of Schecters but other brands too.

Model T's seem to be the "Sasquatch" of basses. Very few people have hands-on experience with them but people seem to like what they see based on the pics. And the few people who own/have owned them generally have good things to say about them.

I want the butterscotch one myself but I dont have the $$ ATM (like so many others around here).
I wasnt focusing only on that bass, but its the one I was looking at when I decided to put up the post.

Thanks, and there are some great prices on there. Just some examples I found with crazy prices was a new Sterling for $750 and a G&L USA ASAT Semi-Hollow Electric Bass for $800.

Crazy.

I bought a bass from Amazon at the discounted rate once. It was a Spector Rex4. It was supposedly one of 2 left in stock. As soon as I made the purchase the price of the other one went right back up to being the same as what everyone else charges. My advice is if you want it and have the funds pull the trigger before someone else does.

Be careful though. I bought a bass from there and it was about as messed up as a bass can be. I've heard that they tend to get B-Stock models a lot, and I think that's what I got.

That could be. The Spector that I got was not b-stock though. Everything was fine. I ended up selling it mainly because I couldn't get used to the body shape/neck dive.

At any rate I guess EagleMoon is right you should probably check out return policies and all of that before you pull the trigger.

Amazon is really good about returns. The real issue ends up being if you can afford to have your money tied for up a few weeks if they send you a bad one. If you have the money their deals are definitely worth taking a chance on.

You have the link for the outlet section? I couldn't find it. Thanks.

If that bass is anywhere near as nice as the Schecter C4 I have, that's an excellent price for a new bass! I'm a newcomer to Schecters, but I am VERY impressed by them.

Currently, your link has the T for only 47% off, which is not much of a deal on Schecters by Amazon standards.

The Schecter stuff I've bought on Amazon was a much longer deal and appeared to be real A-stock...amazingly.

The majority of Amazon stuff I've bought was clearly "distressed merchandise," however. Amazon makes good, but it's a hassle when the stuff you get is used junk.

FYI- the price on the Model T dropped by another $30 today.
Even though its "only" 47% off, I've NEVER seen a new one advertised anywhere for less.

I bought a Schecter on Amazon last year and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the one I got.
