Thank you very much! It's a good player, too. Very low action w/light strings make it a breeze.

What he said. Don't forget that we need a pic as well...the price of membership is sharing with us all.

And along those lines...I've been meaning to suggest that we all post current pics of our basses, just for the sharing-with-the-group bit. Some of us, like me, haven't posted in quite awhile; some of us also have more than one Schecter; and I thought it'd be nice to see just how large the overall club collection is. No hurry to do this, btw...but if y'all get a chance to get pic(s)s of what you have, toss it/them up here when you can. I'll do mine this weekend, if not sooner, and those who are new/recent members don't have to re-post...unless you want to.

Good? Bad? Carrots?

The EMG's sound great. The bridge is apparently the one they're using on a lot of their basses nowadays. Different than the standard Model T bridge, and with an optional string thru-body feature.

I have that same bridge on my '08 004...it seems to be/has been their go-to high-mass bridge for the past few years.

So I just called Schecter and asked them what the width at the Nut and 12 Fret are. They told me Nut= 45mm and 12 Fret= 60.3mm.

So what would this be comparable to? Just trying to get a reference.

Thanks

Shaun

45mm = 1.77"
60.3mm = 2.37"

Honestly, those numbers sound a little off. I would think the neck is a little wider. I mean these numbers are less than a Stingray 5? Maybe he gave you the 4 string neck numbers?

As promised...

'08 Stiletto Extreme 4, strung w/GHS Pressurewounds, 45-105. Purchased new in late '07 after finding it in the Fresno GC with the wrong price...it was supposed to be tagged @ $329, but was on the floor @ $249. And I had a coupon. So instead of buying the Squier VM P that I went in there for, I went home with this and one of those really NICE Warwick gig bags for just over $300 total. The white marks on the headstock's upper left are tooth marks (!) from my ex-fiance's idiot cat who chewed on it. I have no idea why. The little light mark on the lower left of the body is from it toppling over in my lap and landing right there on the corner of my friend's open flight case. Perfect little 90* angle.

This is one of those 'mod it past its worth' projects...so far, a custom bone nut and an early Bartolini pre w/passive switching have been installed; pickups and a Babicz bridge, if it will fit, are next but not any time soon.

I'll do my 004 soon'ish...who's next?
