Owner of Stiletto Deluxe-4.
I want to buy a new bass, looking at 2012 C-4 Custom, but I cant find any reviews or more info about it. Is there any owner that could tell me more?

Gotta have a pic...as I said earlier, a phone pic will do, and/but it has to be your instrument; posting a catalog pic won't cut it (it's been tried before in the past).

Designed for low action, not overly stiff, easy on the fingers. emphasis on midrange and low. For blues, pop, '60s rock and folk, no metal. I am thinking flats. But which ones? Thanks. I have heard only good things about the Model T.

I've tried Fender 9050's (stainless), Rotosound 77's and what I think were Chromes (used set, no box)...out of those, I'd go back to the Rotos. Although I ended up with GHS Pressurewounds on that bass (my Stiletto), but I wasn't after the classic warm flat thump of the classic flatwound. Tapewounds would be another choice, especially if you want lighter gauge strings.

And (un-asked-for endorsement, and I don't benefit from it either) know also that Bass Strings Online is owned by a TB'er (SLaPiNFuNK)...open an account there and mention that you're also on TB and get a discount on all purchases. Jason's a good dude!

I have the following sets of flats on hand, one of which I plan to install on the Model T:

TI's
DR Legend .45/.105 Polished S/S (never tried before)
La Bella Deep Talkin' Bass .043/.104 (never tried before either)

Opinions?

Will you be using both pickups?

And I'm finally on the computer with the owner's registry on it...

B LOW5 gets #326, an apology for the delay in issuing the number, and a belated welcome!

Have I missed anyone (who's submitted a pic, that is)?

Certainly (particularly since I'm on the machine with the membership list right now)...#327 is yours, and welcome!

Question - how's the 6? I've been idly thinking about a 6 of some sort.

Ordinarily, I'd argue for a larger pic, but here I can see that it is an Omen and I have the list handy, so yeah...#328 is yours, and welcome!

Actually one of my favorite basses. Especially considering that I only paid $400.00 for it on craigslist. Hahahaha It is very even and I love the neck and how it feels. It sounds best with nice low action and SR2000 DM strings.

And thank you... Glad to be 327
