Hi Guys,

Prospective Schecter owner here... Can anyone describe the sonic differences between the Model-T and the Diamond P-Custom? Am torn between the two but can't find them to try.

Thanks!

I have been told that the Model T has a more polite sound due to the pickups. I've owned the Diamond P 5 and can tell you that you would never know it was a passive bass. The pickups are very responsive.

How about a video of me playing my Hellraiser Extreme 5.. (sorry for bad quality, and playing one of the riffs wrong)

I wish your bass was louder over the song... I have the same bass and love it. It doesn't sound quite as awesome as my Warwick Katana, but it's the best sounding and playing 5 string I've ever come across.

Yeah I filmed it on my crappy phone What finish is yours in? I kind of wish I got mine in red. By the way you're the first person I've come across that also owns one of these fine basses

Looks just like yours. I was also less than thrilled with the finish.

Look back a few pages and you'll see a pic I posted with my Hellraiser 7 string guitar and 5 string bass.

A head's-up...there's a 004 on ad right now. These are VASTLY under-rated basses IMO, but I'm biased since I own one. In any case, a killer deal here.

I have no stake in the ad in any way, nor will I benefit from the sale...just passing along info to the club.

Have you posted your pic? I've been trying to keep up with everyone's requests but the past month or so had been a LOT of real-world work pressure...
