Searching for a case for my Ibanez ASB140

Hello fellow TB members!

I'm in need of some help on finding a case for my Ibanez ASB140 that I got for x-mas. I know that this is a discontinued model and Ibanez no longer produces the ASB100C case for it. So, are there any other alternative cases that could fit it? And if so, could any other ASB140 owners point me in the right direction so I can get one? I've search through here and googled it too, with no luck :( As always, any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

There are plenty of universal cases available. I would take the bass to a local music store and see if they have one that fits.

ASB100C case is the "recommended" case for the new ASB180 bass. Right there on the Ibanez website. I don't think the case has been discontinued.

Google "Ibanez ASB100C", and you get plenty of retail hits.

I did some more research and I found an old thread on here (http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f8/nee...s-fast-467694/) with someone having a similar issue as I am. User CicadaSilence took the measurements of his ASB140:

Came out to 48" long, 11 1/2" cutaway, 9 1/2" waist, and 15 1'2" lower bout.

It's pretty close, but I don't have the hard case for it, so I don't know if it would work for your bass. They're usually made to fit pretty snugly.

I looked through MusiciansFriend and found this gigbag and the measurements are a little bigger, but it should be a good fit. Here's the link to it:

Would this be a good fit for my ASB140?
