Shape/Ergonomics of Decade vs Jaguar

I've been recently lusting after Lakland Decade, based almost exclusively upon looks alone. Unfortunately, no one sells them in my neck of the woods, so if I was ever going to buy one, I'd have to do so without a chance to play it. I've read that some people have had "ergonomic issues" with the shape of the body and such, but it sounds like that is largely much ado about nothing.

However, this past weekend I had a chance to play a Squier Jaguar bass - which while not identical, does seem to share some similarities with the Decade - and I just could not get past the fact that the shortened upper horn (vs what my Jazz has) kept on jabbing me in the ribs. I tried and tried but couldn't find a way to get the bass to sit comfortably on me.

So now I'm worried - would a Decade, with its slightly shortened upper horn, also jab me in the ribs? Has anyone out there had much experience trying or wearing these two basses? If so, could you share how similar they are (or not)?

I have a Decade now, and owned a Jag in the past. The Decade body is more compact top to bottom, and feels quite
different from the Jag, which always a little bulky to me. I can't imagine that the upper horn would bother you, but the Jag horn never poked me in the ribs, either.

Ok thanks, that's helpful to know that the body is more compact. It felt like smaller would be alright (my Thumb never poked me in the ribs), its was just the Jag seemed as though it was aimed just...wrong.
