I found one at my local GC also. Bought it, played it for a couple weeks, and took it back. I'm now regretting my rash decision...

LTD B-5 Jr. bass

Dude, you found one in blue??? Never seen one, that must have been the rarest one yet. Still nothing on the EST/LTD website about these killer basses (or any other sites). Been looking for another one to maybe convert to fretless!

I just saw one of these for the first time. I wanted to get it just for the cartoon effect of me playing it. (I'm 6' 8"l

Didn't play it plugged in, but it seemed like a nice little bass. The string spacing seemed like my schecter

Floppy B string I tried one yesterday. I should bring a device to measure the P pickups on I and see what size it would take to replace it with a quality set.
I wonder If a tapered B would be less
Floppy?

There's one in my local GC too. Theyre really cool basses. I want to buy it just to see the reaction I get when I show up to a show haha. It's so tiny

I think I'd opt for a Kala U-Bass before buying one of these.

I just got back from GC, where I had a good look at the 4-string model. It had too much relief in its neck.

Otherwise, it appeared to be a better looking Ibanez clone.

I just saw them on-line on a website called 'woodwinds and brasswinds' or something to that effect. I would have copied it down but I didn't think I'd need it again. You all have convinced me to go to GC and take a look.

I played the same one at GC earlier last year. The size of it really caught my eye. It felt as if I was playing a guitar, but it was really fun and comfortable. If I had some disposable income i'd pick it up, but sadly I don't.

I wish it was available in non-black on the website .

I've played the four and five string versions of this bass. It's a fun little instrument. I think it would make a killer short scale piccolo bass.

Messed around with the fiver again tonight at the store. I would have grabbed it, but it would need some work to be really playable - lots of fret sprout, needs a neck pocket shim, etc. I may still grab it.

The B was surprisingly good given the ridiculously short scale.

I saw one of those at the local GC ... the neck was bowed badly ... it needed adjustment from being in the dry climate here in Denver.

I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.

Also played one at GC, and decided to get it. Not bad, but the intonation on this one is off, and I can't seem to get it right. When I get the flats for it, I'll try again.

Come spring I'll be stripping the nasty black off the body and redoing it with a more presentable color.

This bass actually has a great feel, unbelievable sound, 24 frets that doesn't feel like they are crammed in it's short 30" scale and I actually wanted to take it home with me but I'm saving up for a CARVIN LB75W CLARO WALNUT SERIES 5-STRING BASS...YUMMY!!!
