This is the condition of the bass:

The price is $180.

I'm really not sure of buying it, it's dirty.

Is this a good offer? Or is overpriced because the condition?

Dirty can be cleaned, and not cost anything.

"more than a year" is next to nothing. RBX765A was made for only a couple of years, 1998-1999 iirc. So it's 13 years old. Dirty 13 years old bass doesn't mean it was mistreated. Maybe neglected for a while. Here in the UK they sell for about 250 pounds in good condition. Local shop has one nearly mint for 299 and I'm considering buying it. 180$ is like 110 pounds, I'd buy it.

I have a red 765A just like that one. It's a very good instrument IMHO - very nice tone and playability. I don't play it much as I've gone back to 4 strings but that's not the Yamaha's fault.

Dirty is not a big deal if everything else seems solid.

The RBX765A is a very underrated bass in my opinion (and I know many people who will agree with me). I've used mine for many, many shows, an album, a demo, and a handful of small tours. I've had it setup more times than I can recall and it's seen a lot of abuse.

Mine is still in almost pristine condition compared to that one, but they're still damn good basses. Extremely reliable.

I bought one of these a few months back for my son for 150.00 with a hard case overall not a bad buy
I did a search on ebay and the cheapest they sold for was 130.00
if I remember right and around 250.00 for the upper end

I mean this: my actual bass (Ibanez) is from 2010. what is really important is that this is a internet buy so i can`t play it.

whatever, thanks for the advice guys.
