Yes.
Basses are not difficult to take apart and reassemble.
I was routing-out my Fender Mustang for a DiMarzio humbucker at age 13.

Only advice I can give is to always use the correct size screwdriver for each and every screw.
On the used market, when screwheads are messed-up by amateurs it makes me avoid that instrument because I don't know what else they might have ruined.

And don't over-tighten!
Stripped-out holes are a sin.

No. Learn how to do setups and pickup adjustments first. Also check that all screws and nuts are firmy tight rather then loose. Something that should be done to all instruments right out of the box. You can learn about wireing from diagrams and looking at yours without taking it apart. The majority of disasembly is unscrewing things. Theres better things to practice that on if you think you need practice with a screwdriver. Imo.

Maybe you would be better off looking at a wiring diagram then.

You're not going to learn very much by just disassembling and resoldering the wiring.

Pop the covers off and take a look. Not a lot going on in a GSR-190. If it looks like something you want to play with, rip it apart. Take pics prior to disasembly so you don't get lost.
