Was wondering if I should trade in my Sterling Ray 34 for a Marcus Miller Jazz Bass at Guitar Center? Heard you dont get alot of money there, but I want that Miller Bass.. Plus right now Presidents Day Weekend there giving 15% off... What do you think? |

if you're tired of your ray, do it. it's always fun to have a new instrument. |

| | | | If you want it, go for it. Just remember you're gonna be paying a lot out of pocket for the Marcus bass, even if you do trade in the Ray (if its in good condition, you could probably get $100 for it, maybe $150)

Trade-in, you'd be lucky if they give you $200, but you can probably sell it for much more.

I checked as I was gonna grab up a CV P Bass.
And..... I'd keep the Ray. I had a MM..... Kind of a 1 trick pony compared to the Ray. IMO.

Keep the Ray34, they are good value when you're playing it, not when you're selling it. The Bass I want has a Dead Spot..
