I dug through my closet and mocked up some parts I found in there. What do you think?

The bass itself looks like it may be worth completing. But I dont think some of the parts in the pic will be used on the bass. Perhaps some other use can be found for those peices.

Headstock doesn't go with the body shape IMO, but it's just a parts bass.

Do it. At the very least it'll be easier to keep track of the spare bits and bobs you have. Think of it as a really rad parts box. That can be played.

I would rock that.

Edit: I might cut the point off the headstock at the bend so that the two ends of the headstock are parallel.

well, the neck doesn't quite match the body, so I'd have to route into the body some to make it fit tightly and intonate properly. So its not quite a "mobile parts box"

Of course a Bronco body is next to worthless.

I'd just cut the end of the headstock so it would be square and give it a 3+1 treatment .

Bah! It's a custom mobile parts box. Really though, would you use the body in a different situation? If not, go for it. Get funky with the headstock too. I like the 3+1 idea.

The body's a pimped-out squier bronco bass...I'd get a short-scale Fender neck and start from there because that headstock on a Fender body looks plain wrong IMO

+1

a unique looking unit will emerge
and who's to say it would look "right OR wrong"?

no better yet, follow the leader and take their advise...put a fenderhead on it so it looks like every other god**** modified bronco out there.
