Should they do it?

With Fender releasing 60th Anniversary Precisions and 50th Anniversary Jazz, should Gibson do a 50th Anniversary form of the Thunderbird, with the bridge, finger rest, pickups, and tuners of the 60s, the chrome covers, pots, and pickguard from the 76 re-issue, and the headstock size from the current one, then maybe allow all the Gibson custom colors from the 60s. Anyone else think this would be cool, or am I just wishing.

I think we have been lucky in 2011 to get the Short Scale T-bird, the EB11, and the full size LP bass. Thos look pretty good so far - anything else and they are bound to screw something up! lol

But to answer your question - of course they should!
